This page is the project's inventory: which of our warriors are on a hill right now, at what rank, since when — and which ones have been pushed off again. It is updated whenever the hill changes; the date of the data is given under each table.

First, so the numbers are read correctly: a rank is not a goal for us. The project's yardstick, since July 2026, reads word for word:

The best 94nop laboratory and memory in existence — every published number reproducible, visible to the community, and keeping the playing field itself alive. Hill successes (Hall of Fame, crowns) are recurring validation, not the goal.

What happens on the hill is the proof of the pudding — the measurement of whether what we believe in the lab holds up outside. The findings pages show what comes out of that, including when nothing comes of it.

How to read the tables

koth.org 94nop is a displacement hill with twenty slots. A newly submitted warrior fights all twenty residents; the hill is then re-sorted, and whoever ends up in 21st place is out. A resident's age is the number of challenges it has survived since entering — every submission counts, rejected ones included. A high age therefore means: many foreign warriors have come, and none has pushed it out.

The Koenigstuhl works differently: every entry stays forever, there is no age and no displacement, only three separate standings (the running overall standing, the TOP 50 standing and the Battle Royale). More under Hills and community.

Displaced means: was a resident and was pushed to 21st place. Rejected means: the submission landed in 21st place on its very first run and was never a resident.

Where a date carries a tilde (~), it has been reconstructed from the history and is not confirmed to the day.

As of 9 October 2026, 08:05 UTC (koth.org field state of 8 October 2026, 19:26 UTC). Five of the twenty slots. Arvon's exact day of entry is not documented in the history; the Hall of Fame of 2 October 2026 lists it.

Koenigstuhl, three standings

As of 9 October 2026, 08:05 UTC. There is no age on the Koenigstuhl; the submission date is not recorded there.

Displaced from koth.org 94nop

Since August 2026, sixteen of our warriors have been pushed off the hill again. On a displacement hill that is the normal case — every resident, even the best, leaves eventually; the only question is how long it lasts.

Two submissions were rejected, i.e. never became residents:

Register rows are dated by the day of departure. Kaitain is already on the Koenigstuhl (see above); for Kaitain, Salusa Secundus and Alnilam the day of departure cannot be reconstructed with certainty from the history.

What the date means

The source code of a warrior standing on the hill stays under wraps — for the same reason everyone keeps it that way: whoever knows the constants builds the counter. The source code of one of our warriors that has been displaced from the hill or rejected is submitted to Christoph Birk's Koenigstuhl hill three months after the departure or rejection and published here on these pages, with provenance.

The first such date is 12 November 2026 (Rigel).

Where the numbers come from

Ranks, scores and ages are taken from the published state of the hills themselves, retrieved at the time given under each table. The departure dates come from our register of hill departures, which is carried forward with every run of the hill query. All our own warriors are the work of Stefan Kammann & Forge-AI; where a warrior builds on published foreign code, that is stated in its strategy line and on the Attribution page.
